As a business owner, I’m always searching for problems to solve. Our mission statement and our “why” are ingrained into who we are as a business; they’re part of our everyday decisions. Beyond that, we periodically set milestone goals to guide our focus for problem solving.
For example, in 2025 we made a deliberate shift to hyper-focus on improving the customer experience. The goal was simple and ambitious: “to give the customer the best experience possible.” It was inspired by some of my own real-life encounters with over-the-top, excellent retail and experience-based businesses.
While we’re carrying that goal with us into 2026, we’re also adding new ones to our repertoire. One of them is this:
To make Boston known as a fashion-forward, styling-destination city.
I’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what that actually looks like and how we can realistically get there. The conclusion I’ve come to is that it’s going to require a genuine team effort—collaboration with some of the very best Boston has to offer. That’s why we’ll be planning events with leaders from every sector of Boston’s fashion scene (there are too many to list here, but they know who they are).
Stay tuned—and feel free to reach out if you’d like to be part of the movement. There is plenty of room for growth in this beautiful city, and I truly believe someone has to take the reins.
