What is the Community Marketplace?

It is Diversity's online marketplace for approved community sellers. Sellers keep their items at home, create listings and fulfill orders when their merchandise sells.

How much does Diversity take?

Diversity's marketplace commission is 15% of the merchandise sale amount. The seller share is 85%, subject to the marketplace terms for returns, disputes and transaction adjustments.

Is this the same as traditional consignment?

No. Marketplace sellers keep possession of their inventory and are responsible for listing information and fulfillment. Traditional consignors physically submit inventory to Diversity under the store's separate consignment policy.

Can anyone list anything?

No. Seller accounts and products are subject to review. Diversity may decline listings that do not meet condition, authenticity, presentation, legal or marketplace standards.

Who chooses the price?

Sellers choose their asking price unless a marketplace restriction applies. Strong pricing should account for brand, condition, original value, demand and comparable resale pricing.

What photos should I upload?

Use clear current photos of the actual item. Show the front, back, labels, important details and any meaningful wear or flaws.

What happens after an item sells?

The seller packages the item securely, ships it within the required fulfillment window and adds valid tracking through the seller system.

What if I sell the item somewhere else?

Remove or disable the marketplace listing immediately. One of one resale inventory must remain accurate so buyers do not purchase unavailable merchandise.

Where do shoppers buy?

Approved marketplace inventory is presented through the Diversity storefront and Community Marketplace collection.

Where do sellers manage listings?

The dedicated marketplace app provides the seller dashboard. Diversity's Seller Portal is the permanent website entry point for seller access and resources.
