Why Choose Consignment?

Consignment is different from both retail and thrift! It gives you an opportunity to give your clothing a second life while also earning some money back. It's also a very low-risk option because if your items don't sell during your consignment period you can always come back and reclaim them.

Consignment is the single most sustainable option in terms of furthering the life-cycle of clothing. We don't use textile recycling centers to clog up international waters (like most major thrift stores) and we guarantee that your items find a home outside of landfills.

"Sage The City"

A Perimeter Ride for Independent Boston

Sage The City is a community-led bike movement tracing the outer edges of Boston — connecting neighborhoods through independent bookstores, bike shops, thrift stores, and mom-and-pop storefronts that give the city its character.

This is not just a ride.

It’s a mapped statement.

Cyclists follow a curated route with designated “pins” — locally owned businesses that serve as starting points, rest stops, and gathering spaces along the journey. Each stop represents a commitment to putting money where it matters: into the hands of small business owners who shape our communities every day.

As riders move through the city, they symbolically “sage” the perimeter — clearing space for intentional commerce, neighborhood support, and hyper-local connection.

Sage The City is about:

• Redirecting visibility toward independent retail

• Encouraging conscious spending

• Creating neighborhood-to-neighborhood collaboration

• Turning cycling into economic action

Whether you start at one pin or ride the full perimeter, you become part of a living boundary of support for local Boston.
