The Polaroid Wall: How It Came Together

The Polaroid Wall: How It Came Together

The Polaroid wall wasn’t something we planned out in detail.

We’ve been trying to make the store more interactive—adding things that give people a reason to stay, not just shop. After a while, we started running out of ideas that actually felt right in the space.

Then we thought about it differently.

Some of the most memorable places—bars, shops, random spots you end up talking about later—have photo booths. People like documenting where they are and being part of something.

We didn’t need a full setup.

Just a simpler version of that idea.

What It Is

We put a Polaroid camera in the store and started letting people take photos.

From there, it’s up to them:

  • Keep it
  • Or leave it on the wall

Why We Added It

Most stores don’t give you much to do beyond buying something.

This gives people something else to engage with while they’re here. People hang out a little longer, take photos with friends, or come back later to see if theirs is still up.

What We’ve Noticed

People who don’t usually take photos end up taking them.

Outfits they just tried on, quick group shots, random moments—it’s all over the wall now.

And because we’re not choosing what goes up, it actually feels real.
