Faith Through the Freeze

Nobody prepares you for the uncertainty of a New England winter. Going from the holiday shopping season in late December to mountains of snow and bone-chilling cold can be a real shock to the average retail store.

It makes you question everything.

Do people not like us anymore?

Have the changes we’ve made actually hurt us instead of improving the customer experience?

Why can’t we get the website to consistently supplement in-store sales?

Fortunately, we’ve learned something important: consistency can bring solace during the dark times.

Keeping the faith is vital. Believing in what we’re building—as a team and for our community—is what keeps us moving forward when things feel uncertain.

In the meantime, we’ll keep tracking forward… and keep our eyes on the rainbow at the end of the snow.
