Marketplace Listing and Shipping Standards

Diversity Community Marketplace

Listing and Shipping Standards

Required listing information

Each seller listing should include clear photos of the actual item, brand, category, size, condition, price, useful measurements, material when known, and a clear disclosure of stains, tears, repairs, wear or other flaws.

Photo standards

Use bright, clear images showing the front, back, important details, labels and any flaws. Do not use stock imagery as the primary representation of a unique resale item.

Condition

Condition descriptions must reflect the item honestly. Normal vintage or secondhand wear should be disclosed when it could affect a buyer's decision.

Pricing

Sellers choose their asking price unless Diversity sets marketplace pricing restrictions. Diversity may reject listings with misleading or unreasonable pricing presentation.

Approval

Marketplace products are subject to Diversity review before publication. Editing an approved listing may require reapproval before updated information becomes public.

Availability

Because most resale inventory is one of one, sellers must remove items immediately if they are no longer available.

Shipping

Seller fulfilled orders must be packaged securely, shipped promptly to the address provided through the authorized marketplace order, and accompanied by valid carrier tracking. Sellers should never request that a buyer complete payment outside Diversity's authorized checkout.

Order performance

Frequent cancellations, late shipments, inaccurate listings, invalid tracking or unresolved buyer issues can result in listing limits or seller suspension.
